hi all just a quik messsage to make sure every one is coming the meeting nest sun hope u all r we got a lot of things to sort out for next season!!! and for any of the kids parents in babies and tinies i hope to c you all there to as we have things to sort out aswel and we still do have troupes just incase any one was under the impression that we had split because i have heard that roumour that was goin round so hope to c u the 8th thanks katie x x

hi ann, yes we do only practice on a tuesday, as you can see we are at the community centre, its like fort knox trying to get in, so if you have a problem just ring my mobile and i'll come out to open the door, you'll find the number on the "practice details" page. we've got a competition in halewood on the 31st so you may be able to make that, look forward to seeing you in a few weeks, bye for now ............malxx

hi mal lovely to hear from you congratulations on pontins win i showed kelly your website yesterday she has not changed a bit she still has them big brown eyes you always used to say how could anyone get cross with her gaynor not changed a bit and is a wonderful mummy it was touch and go with her boys as they decided to make 9 week early appearance and weighed only 2lbso were quite ill but there healthy little boys now who celebrated there 1st bjrthday on the 6th may mary has little boy now he is 9 this year jeanette has boy of 17 and girl of 13 myself and gaynor are coming up to visit my dad with the boys end of the month so would love to come and visit do you only practise on a tuesday see you all soon take care x x x x x

HIYA ANN !!! it's brilliant to hear from you, my god i can't believe gaynor is 32, isn't it amazing that we are still going, it hasn't always been easy, sometimes we've really struggled for girls but here we are. we've gone back to yellow and black now there should be new photos on in a couple of weeks, we had problems getting nice yellow material so we ended up with pink for two seasons but it wasn't the same, speke was always known for it's yellow and black. we still go to pontins and presthaven, in fact we were there a couple of weeks ago, the seniors, tinies and babies (aged 6 and under) all came first so we're still doing ok you can still be proud to be a speke balmoral girl !!! you'd probably still know half of the seniors cos they're in their late thirties so they would have been in the same time as you and your girls, angela still dances, i train the seniors and pauline still comes every week, nothing much changes does it, we've got three mums and daughters in the seniors which is nice. zodiacs aren't going anymore they packed in years ago but morris dancing is still really popular i think there are a lot more troupes now and the competition is much tougher these days so we're up against a lot of good troupes now, if you ever come home to visit family give us a shout and you could call in and see us, i hope you're all well, hows mary doing ? congrat ulations on becoming a grandmother !! take care, bye for now Mal xxxxxx

hiya all i am one of the dancers from the 1970s my name is ann lally and my sisters jeanette and mary used to dance as well under sally mac and mal and pauline and sallys daughter cathy used to train us our new routine we always done pontins loved it then i had 3 girls of my own michelle gaynor and kelly and they also danced still did pontins and isle of man glad to see you are still going strong we live in london now became nan last year gaynor had twin boys she is 32 now any old photos about from days in late 60s 70s and 80s when did you change colours it was always yellow and black how is the rivalry it used to be rife between us and the zodiacs (from kirby) are they still around would like to hear from any of the old dance girls do you still do isle of man have a wicked season x
